We are a Czech company called INWARD DETECTION s.r.o., the manufacturer with a well-known brand, which has been one of the leaders of not only the Eastern Europe but as well the world market of anti-terrorist security systems for more than 30 years now. INWARD’s equipment used in many countries: in major airports, railway stations, postal and customs services, stadiums, mass events and other facilities requiring the highest level of protection.

The main direction of our activity is the design, development, manufacture and supply of innovative X-ray inspection-screening systems used by public services and private companies specializing in ensuring the safety of people, organizations and property. Our company has years of successful experience of mutually beneficial cooperation both with large federal structures and with small private companies. To the needs of each client, we come strictly individually, choosing the best business solutions, ideally suited to the tasks.

Our History

For nearly three decades, our company has been at the forefront of developing and manufacturing state-of-the-art X-ray systems as part of a larger group specializing in security inspection technologies since 1992. In recent years, our products have gained significant global recognition in the field of security systems due to their exceptional quality and innovative features.

Our journey began in the 1980s when the founding team, consisting of experienced senior engineers and designers, honed their expertise at leading industrial facilities across Eastern Europe. Today, we combine the advanced scientific developments of Eastern European innovation with the superior quality standards of Western Europe. This unique blend allows us to provide you with the most advanced and intelligent security solutions tailored to modern challenges.

A key area of our activity focuses on the production of advanced inspection systems for containers, vehicles, and cargo. Our commitment to innovation is evident through numerous milestones achieved over the years:

In 2002, we launched our own production facility for line detectors, followed by the introduction of high-energy line detectors in 2004. These were paired with specially designed cyclic accelerators for use in container and cargo inspection systems.  

By 2005, we had developed our own inspection system for cargo containers, laying the foundation for groundbreaking technologies that continue to shape this sector to date.  

In 2007, we engineered an advanced accelerator with multi-energy radiation functionality, enabling substance identification that was previously unattainable with conventional systems.  

In 2008, we centralized our collective technical expertise and created the now-recognized INWARD DETECTION ™ brand, equipped with dedicated manufacturing and assembly facilities.  

In 2009 a multi-view X-ray inspection system for cargo and containers was introduced, offering enhanced detection capabilities. This system uses imaging from multiple angles, ensuring that no prohibited item remains concealed within inspected objects, irrespective of their location.  

By 2012, we had developed mobile X-ray cargo inspection systems capable of delivering superior inspection quality using accelerators with high energy levels. These systems have significantly improved screening efficiency for high-throughput cargo and vehicles.  

Our commitment to research and innovation continued to flourish as we expanded our offerings:  

In 2016, we presented a novel X-ray inspection solution tailored specifically for air cargo containers. This achievement was made possible through the dedication and expertise of our exceptional R&D team.  

In 2022, we embarked on a new project to cater to growing security demands: the development of high-tech AI radar systems designed to protect critical infrastructure, secure facilities, and private properties from ground-level threats and aerial drones (UAVs). This product line has already entered mass production, with dozens of systems delivered. We remain committed to enhancing these solutions with regular software upgrades and improved technical features.
