MAIN ARENA OF 2014 WINTER OLYMPIC GAMES, EQUIPPED WITH INWARD DETECTION SECURITY SYSTEMS

On April 28th, after the reconstruction of the arena, the Sochi stadium "FISHT" held the first official football match.

Two weeks before the commissioning, the stadium was checked by the commission with the Vice-Premier of the Government of the Russian Federation, the President of the FUR and the head of the organizing committee "Russia-2018" Vitaly Mutko, who noted the high degree of readiness of the arena.

In the first half of March, the safety passport of the facility was obtained, which became the legal confirmation that FISHT is ready to host the Cup of Confederations and the FIFA World Cup in 2018.

Inward detection s.r.o. was the main supplier of security equipment for the sports arena. Fifty conveyor type screening systems TS-SCAN 6575 have been installed on the outer and inner security perimeters of the stadium. The inspection units of this type are widely used to provide security at transport infrastructure facilities, during mass events and in government bureaus and private companies.

Furthermore, INWARD provided stadium security personnel with portable fast-operating high-sensitive M-ION detectors, in a quantity of fourteen pieces, which made it possible to detect and identify explosives, both in the form of vapors and in the form of particles (traces).

The equipment of the INWARD showed the flawless operation of all systems and proved itself as a reliable and effective tool designed to identify means of sabotage and terrorism.

INWARD DETECTION s.r.o. since 1992 designs, manufactures and supplies state-of-the-art equipment for transport security, strategic facilities and security checkpoints.

One of the most important activities is the serial production of inspection-screening equipment used to locate and detect explosive devices and their components, weapons and other prohibited and threatening items.
