The M-ION explosives detectors are now known as VexTrace

INWARD DETECTION is introducing the enhanced M-ION explosives detectors to the market under a new name, VexTrace. VexTrace detectors offer the same capabilities as their predecessors, but are even faster and more efficient .

The M-ION portable explosives detectors were created with advanced technology based on the principle ion mobility's nonlinear dependence on electric field strength. These innovative devices were shipped consistently for more than five years, and today these detectors are seeing effective use at various sites requiring increased security measures.

That said, new threats are constantly emerging in the modern world, creating greater demand for advanced anti-terrorism security technology. In response to contemporary challenges, INWARD DETECTION is introducing a new generation of explosives detectors with enhanced features, named VexTrace.

The highly sensitive VexTrace detectors can detect and identify explosives in both vapor and particulate forms in a matter of seconds, recognizing virtually all types of explosives on any surface and in the air, including trinitrotoluene, ammonium nitrate, smoking and smokeless gunpowder, hexogen, and more. VexTrace detectors do not contain radioactive sources, are user-friendly, do not require expensive consumables, and operate reliably in highly dusty and humid conditions, with less than one percent false alarm rate.

The detectors feature an access right management system with authorization, while its built-in memory can store the results of over 500,000 detections. VexTrace can be connected to an external PC, tablet, or smartphone via wireless or wired connection. The detectors support remote control and diagnostics.

In conclusion, we would like to highlight that the original products, the quality of which is ensured by INWARD DETECTION, are now known as VexTrace explosives detectors. You will have the opportunity to see these devices in person very soon: from November 14 to 17, they will be presented at our company's booth № 4 E 068 at the Milipol 2023 exhibition in Paris (Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre).
